Founded in 2024, MetalCraft By Design began as a creative outlet for owner/operator Peter Shelton. Peter has over 15 years of experience as a journeyman machinist and engineer based out of Gig Harbor, Washington. He started filming his work and posting it on social media to connect with a wider audience. The overwhelming support of his new-found community quickly allowed MetalCraft By Design to grow from a hobby into a full-time business.

MetalCraft By Design is now a small family business that takes pride in bringing new ideas to life. Through computer-aided design, engineering, and artistry, we are dedicated to creating functional and unique products. Whether it is 3D printed tool organizers, marine performance parts and accessories, or decorative, Pacific Northwest inspired artwork, each piece is designed with the upmost care and attention to detail.
